Vietnam's Plastic Industry Demonstrates Strong Growth Momentum!

The Vietnamese plastics sector has flourished in recent years, playing a vital role in supplying critical materials across diverse industries such as electronics, textiles, consumer goods, and automotive. With increased investments, Vietnam has become a key production hub for plastic products, meeting the needs of major international markets, exporting to more than 160 countries around the world and are present in demanding markets such as the US, Germany, France, UK, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Japan and Australia.
At Hanoi Plas 2024, Dinh Duc Thang, the Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Plastics Association, expressed his confidence in the growth of Vietnam's plastics industry. The industry's revenue hit US$25 billion in 2023. In the first half of 2024, Vietnam's export of plastic products is projected to surge to more than US$3.15 billion, and may reach US$5.5 billion by the end of the year.
